Q. How old do you have to be to rent a camper?
A. For insurance purposes the renter and/or driver of all RVs must be 25 years of age. The renter will be held responsible for anything and everything that may happen to the RV. They must be present during the rental at all
Q. In case of an emergency, who do I call?
A. If you or someone you are with are in a life-threatening emergency please call 911. If there are any issues at all with the camper you are renting you can call or text (678) 752-1810 and one of our on call associates will get back with you as soon as possible.
Q. Do the campers have wifi?
A. We do not have Wifi enabled in any of our campers. Most of our campers come with smart TVs that can be connected to your personal hotspot if needed.
Q. What is included in the rental?
A. All cooking utensils, cookware (pots, pans, baking sheets), cups, plates, and silverware are included in the rentals. A coffee pot, propane (for camper use only), and 4 rolls of toilet paper are also included. Sheets and towels are NOT included in our rentals but can be added on for a fee of $65. Pillows are NOT included in any of the rentals.
Q. Are pets allowed?
A. Yes! We love pets and know how important they are to your family and ours, however excotic animals are not allowed. There is a pet fee of $10 a night and all we ask is that you clean up after your pets. If you are unsure if
your pet is allowed, feel free to call our store and one of our associates will be happy to talk you through it.
Q. Am I allowed to dry camp with any unit?
A. Dry camping is permitted. However, when dry camping in any of our units with an onboard generator, please keep in mind that you only have a limited number of hours. It may be more cost-effective to rent one of our external generators located in the “Add On” section of your booking. Check out this information on dry camping to decide if dry camping may be a good choice for you on your next trip. An additional dry camping waiver will be signed at pickup or delivery.
Q. Can you guys deliver? How do I add that to my reservation?
A. We do offer delivery for an additional $5/mile fee calculated at check out. By adding delivery to your reservation, your mandatory “Essential Protection Package” drops to a “Stationary Protection Package” of only around $10-$13/day. Delivery can only be added when booking via a desktop browser. Below is a short video guiding you through the delivery process.
Q. What is the Essential Protection Package, and why do I need it?
A. The Essential Protection Package is a nonrefundable insurance policy. This policy protects both our renters and our fleet owners in case of accident, natural disaster, and more. Our insurance is supplied through a third-party company known as Roamly who deals specifically with rental camper fleets. Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. When booking a camper, you put down a 15% nonrefundable deposit of your reservation to hold your dates if your trip is 2 or more weeks away. You have 24 hours to cancel for a full refund, and after that, you will only forfeit your deposit by canceling. If you cancel within 14 days of your trip departure date, you will not receive a refund. Special consideration is given in instances of natural disaster or extreme emergency. If you think you may need to cancel your reservation, we recommend booking trip insurance through IMG Global when prompted at checkout.
Q. What behaviors are not permitted during my reservation?
A. No illegal activities, smoking of any kind, or getting on the roof of a unit (even with a ladder) are permitted during your reservation.
Q. Is the $500-$1000 security deposit refundable? And when will I get it back?
A. The security deposits are held for up to 72 hours after the return of your rental to give our team time to thoroughly inspect the unit. If there are any issues, you will be contacted directly by a team member before any money is taken from your deposit. Deposits are only taken in extreme cases of damage, overages, failure to dump tanks when towing, excessive dirtiness, and theft. You will see the return of your deposit 3-5 business days after release.
Q. What campgrounds do you recommend nearby?
A. If you’re looking for full hookups, Pine Mountain RV Resort (~45 min away) is the way to go! For the best campsite views, Holiday Campground (~40 min away) or R. Shafer Heard Campground (~40 min away) on West Point Lake have mostly waterfront sites. Chattahoochee Bend State Park (~45 min away) has tons of hiking for the whole family to enjoy!
